What do we seek?

The Mission of the Agency:

  • to contribute with the Lithuanian and the EU funds to making the education of people the foundation of the progress of our country.
The Vision of the Agency:
       ESFA – is a recognised modern organisation that reaches every person in Lithuania and provides him with an opportunity to learn and improve:
  • it provides services on the human resources development issues in the areas of project administering, consulting, training and project preparation;
  • its work is effective and of high quality, based on the principle of “office without paper”;
  • its personnel is qualified and motivated;
  • its personnel assists implementation and takes part in human resources development projects not only in Lithuania, but also abroad.
Our values
Striving to implement their mission, the European Social Fund Agency and its personnel follow these values in their activities:

Strategic goals of the Agency till 2013
Implementing the vision of the Agency, optimally using internal strengths and external opportunities, and reducing internal weaknesses and external threats, the following strategic goals of the Agency are raised:
  • successful administering of the programmes assigned to the Agency;
  • ensuring qualification and motivation of the personnel;
  • development of the Agency’s organisational capacities;
  • technological renewal;
  • strengthening of cooperation and information exchange with the organisations that are important to the Agency;
  • extension of the range of services rendered;
  • extension of the services geography.
